One of the most well-known and influential nursing organisations in the world, AAN has provided generations of nurses with access to nursing information and practises around the globe.

3,000 AAN fellows from throughout the world have been inducted over the past five decades, and the iron lady is one of them. At the moment, Dr. Rozina is the dean of the Aga Khan University School of Nursing and Midwifery (AKU-SONAM).

Dr. Rozina is also the first nurse from the Central and South Asian region to be accepted into the AAN, in addition to all of the aforementioned facts.

Dr. Rozina has been connected to AKU-SONAM for around 30 years.

Dr. Rozina said she is honoured to represent Pakistan on such a large international stage. Although it might be difficult for a nurse from a developing nation to get a seat at the table where such crucial policy discussions and decisions are made given the rapidly evolving trends in the health sector. Therefore, it would significantly affect Pakistan’s nursing practise and healthcare outcomes.

The greatest honour given to nursing practitioners in the healthcare field via education, practise, research, and policy is the American Academy of Nursing fellowship.
