Usman Qadir ‘Extra responsibility on me to continue legacy of my father’

HARARE: Usman Qadir said he has an extra responsibility to carry his late father Abdul Qadir’s legacy in international cricket. 

Qadir remained the top pick by taking three wickets for Pakistan against Zimbabwe in the T20I series opener on Wednesday here at Harare Sports Club. Since his T20I debut, the right-arm leggie has bagged 17 wickets in nine outings and bowls at an economy rate of 7.15.

“There is always a bit presure on my shoulders to continue the legacy of my father in international cricket,” Usman shared.

he said “I try to give my best and Allah has always helped me performing. I am looking forward to representing my country on high every time,”
