Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, a member of the National Assembly (MNA), has unexpectedly died in Karachi. This morning, Aamir’s servant discovered him unconscious in his room.
The police were promptly notified, and an ambulance was dispatched. Doctors pronounced the famed religious scholar-turned-anchor dead after he was transferred to a private hospital.

Doctors allege that Aamir Liaquat died before being taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, Aamir’s body has been taken to Jinnah Hospital for a post-mortem, according to DIG East Karachi.
The National Assembly’s current session, on the other hand, has been adjourned till tomorrow evening. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Speaker of the National Assembly, and other MNAs have conveyed their sorrow at the death of Aamir Liaquat.
