
Around 208,000 Sikhs participated in the Khalistan Referendum in four countries, demanding the liberation of Indian Punjab from Indian occupation, the establishment of an independent Sikh state.
As part of this referendum campaign that started from October last year, 4 referendums have been held in Great Britain, Geneva, Italy and Canada in which the Sikh community participated in large numbers. The latest round of the referendum in this regard was held on September 18 in Brampton, Canada, in which about 110,000 Sikhs, including 20 percent of the adult Sikh population, voted in favor of an independent state. took
