On July 5, the Asus Rog Phone 6 will go on sale. A couple of the phone’s features have previously been revealed, but the design of the device has remained a mystery. The gaps have since been filled, thank goodness, by a new TENAA listing.
Your First Look at the Asus Rog Phone 6 Is Here
According to the images, Rog Phone 6 still has its traditional gamer aesthetics, but the camera and rear panel design have been updated. There is a horizontal triple camera setup on the back and one of the lenses has a blue ring around it which is likely the ultrawide unit. The tiny LED display on the back is still there as well, but it has moved to the side and is slightly bigger.
One of the first smartphones that use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will be the Rog Phone 6. The display might be a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1080p resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate for gaming and fluid scrolling, along with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
It will have a sizable 6,000 mAh battery that supports 65W rapid charging. The camera configuration is yet unknown.
Since the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to debut on July 5, it may also be the first device in the world to feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The debut date hasn’t been established yet, though.
