The BCCI’s response to the English Cricket Board’s offer of a Test series between Pakistan and India came out.
The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) had offered a Test series between Pakistan and India on behalf of the English Cricket Board, which the Indian Board has flatly rejected.
According to media reports, a BCCI official said in his statement that the decision of the series against Pakistan will be decided by the government and there is no possibility of it in view of the current situation.
The India-Pakistan teams last played a Test series 15 years ago, but India has repeatedly refused to play the series against Pakistan citing the Mumbai attacks.
In the year 2012, a three-match ODI series was played between the two teams, for which the national team went to India, while the last Test series between the two countries was played in 2007.
Pakistan defeated India 1-2 at home ground in this series of three ODI matches.
