Soldiers from Pakistan and India Dance near the Line of Control to Sidhu Moose Wala

At the Line of Control, Indian and Pakistani soldiers dance to “Bambiha Bole,” a song by the late Sidhu Moose Wala (LoC). On social media, the video clip is becoming very popular.

After becoming a worldwide language, music bridges cultural divides and unites people everywhere. That is what took place at the perilous Line of Control (LoC) between Indian and Pakistani forces.

The two countries are divided by a militarised border. There have been numerous wars in the disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir. It’s not always the case that the news we hear about the region is about gunfire and artillery between India and Pakistan.

Recently, a video clip from the LoC went viral on social media. In the clip Indian soldiers are grooving to the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala song “Bambiha Bole“. Sidhu Mooosewala may be gone but his songs lives on. Pakistan and Indian army put aside their differences for a few brief moments and enjoy his song together.

The Indian soldiers turn up the volume of their music system, encouraging Pakistani soldiers to join in on the fun. In the clip, we can see the Pakistani soldiers waving and dancing along with the Indians, from their post. It is a lovely and peaceful moment between two opposing armies, vibing together.
