Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Ring Road project has been further delayed due to political conflict between the Federation and the Punjab government.
According to sources in the district administration, the Prime Minister wrote a letter a month ago for the third party feasibility of Rawalpindi Ring Road, but due to political tension in Islamabad and Punjab, the letter could not be implemented.
Delays in the Rawalpindi Ring Road project are adding to the cost, while the problem of heavy traffic in the twin cities has become critical.
