MediaTek has launched its Dimensity 1050 with the fastest and most smooth connectivity thanks to seamless 5G sub-6GHz(FR1). It allows easy switching between the long-reach Sub-6GHz and the mmWave standards.
MediaTek has introduced two additional chips, Dimensity 930 and Helio G99. Dimensity 930 supports Full HD+ displays with HDR10+ with a refresh rate of 120Hz whereas Helio G99 comes with an evolution of LTE-only Helio G96 having a 6nm-class chip rather than a 12nm chip.
Dimensity 1050 features an Octa-Core CPU for a powerful performance. It has two Cortex-A78 CPUs with frequencies up to 2.5GHz and six Cortex-A55 with 2.0GHz. The other component is ARM Mali-G610 MC3 GPU which provides great gaming performance in addition to improved efficiency.
It supports the latest 3CC-CA connectivity for faster speeds up to 4.6Gbps. The Dimensity 1050 allows connecting to 4G LTE and mmWave with a very fast speed. The Taiwanese company has also launched Bluetooth 5.3 integration in addition to its Wi-Fi 7 platforms in the Filogic 880 and Filogic 380.
