
The Asian Development Bank has released a report on the rail networks of Central Asian nations, including Pakistan.

According to a study report, 24 percent of rail cars and 23 percent of railroad engines in Pakistan have been deemed unusable.
Pakistan’s railways, like those of other Central Asian nations, are experiencing financial losses, and the Asian Development Bank has recommended six policy changes to improve the region’s rail infrastructure.
The Central Asia Regional’s operational programme may make the railways financially viable, but it would also assist to advance regional development and raise people’s standards of living, according to the Asian Development Bank.
