
An Askari Bank and Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of digitally facilitating and onboarding the unbanked segment of freelancers and entrepreneurs through the Askari Freelancer Digital Account.

The wise alliance between Askari Bank and PAFLA will provide mentorship programmes, conferences, webinars, seminars, professional training events, and certification programmes in financial literacy. While Askari Bank aims to manage and meet all of the banking needs of independent contractors throughout Pakistan.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Tufail Ahmed Khan, CEO of PAFLA, and Ms. Amina Bilal, Head of Digital Sales for AKBL. Other top representatives from both organisations, including Mr. Shehryar Ali Shah, Chief Digital Officer, AKBL, Mr. Ibrahim Amin, Co-founder and EVP, PAFLA, Mr. Haroon Q Raja, Co-founder and SVP, Ms. Dua Sukhera, Head South Punjab, were also present.
The major goal of the agreement is to support the expansion of the dynamic community of freelancers and startups.
