Spain: Every two years in Spain, there is an interesting human tower building competition, and this year, 71 people were injured while building a long human tower, 13 of whom were taken to hospital.

More than 11,000 fans were present this time to watch this game, which has been going on since the 18th century. The game involves individuals standing on each other’s shoulders and is considered part of Catalan traditions. This time, 16,000 Euros was reserved for the prize-winning team. Tourists from all over the world come here to watch this game.

Due to its popularity, the human tower competition was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2010 as it is an important part of Catalan culture and tradition. However, this time a total of 71 people were injured, out of which 13 people were hospitalized.

Forty different groups took part in the competition this year and the team from the city of Velafer Inca took home the field as they created a 13 meter tall human tower. In competition, special attention is paid to the balance and arrangement of human beings. However, people of light build and height are promoted by wearing helmets. But the final points are given for the height while the kids wearing the red helmets are placed at the top and they form the final part.
