Women surprised everyone by playing kabaddi in sarees

Chhattisgarh: In the Olympics held in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, women surprised everyone by playing Kabaddi in sarees.

Chhattisgarh state government official Avinash shared a video of women dressed in sarees playing kabaddi on social networking site Twitter.

In this video, women can be seen playing kabaddi in two teams while the participants were there to support their teams and were shouting slogans in favor of women players.

He said that this competition was organized by the people at the local level. The video was highly appreciated by social media users and termed playing kabaddi in a saree as a sarcastic style.

This video, which was shared on Twitter, has been watched by thousands of users so far, while hundreds have also made interesting comments on it.

One user wrote on the video that ‘it’s so grown up’. While another wrote that watching this video was a pleasant surprise.

Another user said that if we support these women at the official level, they can make the name of the country (India) shine at the global level.

It may be noted that this is the first time that a Kabaddi match has been organized between women wrestlers as earlier only men were seen playing the sport in special attire.
