Hamza Ali Abbasi is one of those actors that people love to watch on their screens. He tried to come, see and conquer as he started his acting career with a negative role in Mere Darad Ko Jo Zubin Malai. Since then he has been playing lead roles in various dramas. He also did films in the lead role with Vaarat Hai Junoon while being a paired cast member of Jawani Phir Nahi Aani. But Hamza left films after Jawani Phir Nahi Aani. He has been missing from the screens ever since we saw him as Qalb Momin in Aalif. Hamza explained the reason for missing in action during his recent interview.
He said he was studying religion and embarking on a new path in life:
Hamza Ali Abbasi did plays but gave up films all together. He has previously expressed his reservations about the content we are making, opposing things like forcing item numbers into films. He said that dramas are within a range that he is fine with but our films are producing content that he does not agree with so he is not keen on doing more films than dramas.

Currently, his much awaited film The Legend of Moolah Jat is being shot. He is open to doing more projects if it falls within the limits set by him.
