Muttahida Naan Roti Association in Lahore increased the price of bread and naan.
The price of roti has been increased from 12 to 15 rupees and the price of naan has been increased from 20 to 25 rupees.
The vice president of Muttahida Non-Bread Association Waheed Abbasi says that the Deputy Commissioner was requested twice but there was no hearing, the district administration has failed to control the price of flour and wheat.
On the other hand, the spokesman of the district administration says that the non-buying association cannot increase the price unilaterally, action will be taken against those who increase the price, and the ovens that increase the price will be sealed.
