Colombia: Famous Colombian singer Shakira has expressed her solidarity with Iranian women.
Shakira shared a photo of 22-year-old Mehsa Amini on her Instagram post, expressing her solidarity with Iranian women.
Shakira captioned the photo, “I stand with Mehsa Amini’s family, the women and schoolgirls of Iran, and all those who are fighting for freedom of expression.”
It should be noted that last month, Tehran police detained 22-year-old Mahsa Amini and severely tortured her for not wearing full hijab, as a result of which she went into a coma. Demonstrations have been going on for 25 days.
In such a situation, prominent showbiz personalities like Shakira and Priyanka Chopra have also expressed their solidarity with Iranian women by announcing their support, but Priyanka is being criticized for this support by the Indian people.
