
Quetta: The Balochistan High Court has sought a response from the provincial government on the issue of dividing Lasbela district into two parts.
According to Express News, a petition was filed by former Chief Minister Balochistan and BAP leader Jam Kamal against the division of Lasbela district into two parts, in which the decision of the government was declared null and void by declaring this division as invalid. Requested.
On Jam Kamal’s request, a two-member bench comprising Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Justice Iqbal Kasi heard the request.
On the occasion of hearing, the petitioner and others appeared in the court. On this occasion, the Hon’ble Judge inquired as to why no report was submitted by the Government despite issuing notices.
On this, the Advocate General said that a report will be submitted at the next hearing. Along with this, the court adjourned the hearing till October 24, asking for a report from the senior member Board of Revenue.
