Kharadar Police solved the robbery mystery of 18 lakh rupees in the office of a cloth merchant near Bolton Market within 6 hours, arrested the accused and recovered the cash.
SHO Kharadar Nand Lal said that on Tuesday morning, Assistant 15 police was informed about the robbery incident by Faisal, an employee of cloth merchant Samiullah. So he could not give a satisfactory answer.
When the police questioned him strictly due to suspicion, the employee confessed that he stole 18 lakh rupees from the office and staged a robbery.
The SHO says that the police recovered 18 lakh rupees in cash and a check book from the residence of Nazimabad Golimar on the identification of the arrested accused Faisal.
He further said that the accused Faisal has been working with a cloth merchant for more than 15 years, after the Kharadar police solved the mystery of the incident within a few hours, Karachi Police Chief Javed Alam Odhu sent SHO Kharadar Nand Lal. And while felicitating his team, he has announced to give cash prize and certificates of appreciation.
The Karachi Police Chief has requested all the business community and cloth merchant Samiullah to check the CRO record of the employees working in their shops to determine if any of their employees are Not having a criminal record.
