Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the launch of a relief effort to assist those affected by severe flooding and rain.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Air Marshal Muhammad Amir Hayat of PIA has directed the authorities to remain attentive and restore Emergency Response Center, as per details.

Moreover, a second tier emergency alert has been issued in emergency response center for relief operations.

However, the national carrier will conduct the relief operations with collaboration with National Disaster Management Authority(NDMA).

Furthermore, prior a day, Minister for Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafique directed Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to convey relief items to NDMA to the flood victims free of cost.
