London: Hackers have claimed that after touching the smartphone screen and computer keyboard, heat remains for some time and by looking at it, hackers can easily find out your password, but thermal (heat sensing) for this. Cameras and AI software will be required.

It has been demonstrated in practice by computer science experts at a Scottish university. They detected the short password with a thermal camera within 20 seconds of typing it in and achieved an 86 percent success rate, or accuracy that would be second to none for ordinary users. Thus, the password can be easily hacked thanks to the heat that lasts for a while from touching the finger.

This is why experts insist on a long and complex password. However, even a minute after entering the password, the technology experts can detect the password from the heat wave on the smartphone or keyboard, and digital encryption has become easier. Is.

If you select a password on your phone screen, the thermal camera on the phone tells you which number or letter was pressed first and which one was pressed later by looking at the heat points. For this, scientists have also created a program based on artificial intelligence, which has been named ‘Thermal Secure’. Thermal Secure tells the order in which numbers or keys are pressed. In this way, anyone can find the password by looking at the phone’s thermal image.

Passwords can be guessed with 86% accuracy after 20 seconds and 76% accuracy after 30 seconds, while 62% accuracy has been noted after one minute. This is the reason why this thermal password hacking technology is being called extraordinary.

Experts hope that this technology will help prevent hacking and improve cybersecurity.
