Pakistan has unveiled its first eco-friendly electric car Honri Ve 2.0 at the Ideas 2024 exhibition held at Karachi’s Export Centre.
This affordable and efficient electric vehicle is designed with urban driving in mind. The Honri Ve 2.0 offers a range of 200 km on a single charge with a power output of 30 kW, 84 Nm of torque, and a top speed of 100 km/h. It can be fully recharged in just 7 hours.
Other features include front disc brakes, 15-inch alloy wheels, halogen headlights, and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, which ensures a smooth and enjoyable ride.
During the event, Dewan Motors Director Kashif Riaz highlighted that the vehicle can travel 200 km on a single battery charge, costing only Rs 700 to travel this distance. He also mentioned that electric cars are equipped with imported lithium batteries.
Experts pointed out that Pakistan has significant lithium reserves, and producing lithium batteries locally could further reduce the cost of electric vehicles in the country.
