Mumbai: Former Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni aka MS Dhoni has entered the film industry as a producer.
Indian media report According to reports, Indian cricketer MS Dhoni is making his debut in Tamil films as a producer in Nagri Kollywood with famous Tamil actress Nayanthara’s upcoming film, his new production company will back Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films.
According to a recent report in a Bharti news website, MS Dhoni is all set to enter Kollywood and has roped in Rajinikanth’s close associate Sanjay for his debut film.
Apart from this, actress Nayanthara will be acting as the female lead in Cricketer’s first production venture, while the official announcement is expected soon.
It should be noted that MS Dhoni is not the only Indian cricketer who has made his debut in Kollywood films, earlier cricketers like Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan have also played important roles in the film industry.
It should be remembered that Indian cricket team player Shikhar Dhawan is also making his debut in Bollywood with the upcoming film ‘Double XL’ starring actresses Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha.
