Miley Cyrus names the mastermind behind her controversial pole dance
American singer Miley Cyrus has named the man behind her controversial pole dance at an awards show, addressing her infamous performance at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
Earlier this month, in talks with her sister Brandi Cyrus for Spotify Bullion Club series, Miley revealed to her fans that her mother, Tish Cyrus, was behind the infamous moment.
During the conversation, Miley asked Brandi, “Do you know whose idea it was?” When Brandi guessed her mom’s name correctly, Miley confirmed, saying, “Yeah, it was my mom’s idea, so she always lets me take the blame.”
Miley recalled, “When I got in trouble the next day, you know who wasn’t there? Tish Cyrus. What I remember most about that performance was that it was the first time I Wear real diamond jewelry on stage.
He continued, “You guys remember a little old ice cream truck? I remember diamonds.”
According to a report of Geo News On Saturday, Miley performed her hit song “Party in the USA” at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards while dancing on stage with a metal pole attached to an ice cream cart. The performance sparked a backlash, as Miley was only 16 at the time.
