The new domestic cylinder price has been fixed at Rs 3000.79. Similarly, the price of LPG per kg has been fixed at Rs 254.30.
Meanwhile, petrol and diesel prices are expected to rise from December 1 in light of changes in global oil prices and currency exchange rates.
Local media reports, quoting sources, claim that petrol prices may increase by Rs 3.15 per litre, and High Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs 3.20 to Rs 3.50 per litre. The price of kerosene is also likely to increase by Rs 4 per litre.
These adjustments are linked to recent fluctuations in global crude oil prices, which have affected the cost of imports.
The final decision will be taken by the Finance Ministry and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb will announce the revised rates after consulting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
As of November 2024, petrol is priced at Rs 248.38 per litre, HSD at Rs 255.14 per litre, kerosene at Rs 161.54 per litre, and light diesel oil (LDO) at Rs 147.51 per litre.
