KP Government Devolves Two Helicopters To Relief Operations

The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has alloted it’s 2 helicopters for flood relief activities.

The relief activities started by the KP government in the affected districts by flood. Mahmood Khan, KP Chief Minister stated that their 2 helicopters would be used for relief activities, which would be utilized for coping with emergency situation by the district administration.

Furthermore, a control room has also been set up in flood-hit areas which would be in coordination with central control room.

Additionally, the lawmakers have also been appointed as the focal persons for each district.

Section 144 has been imposed in district administration Malakand, in the near by areas of Swat River and ordered the citizens to stay away from its range. However, it has been appealed to the citizens to avoid traveling.

Moreover, the flood water in Mohmand district from Mohmand Dam entered in the houses. Rescue 1122 and the commissioner assistant installed tents for the affected people in the safe localities.
