Karachi: The dead bodies of three youths were recovered from different areas of Shahr Quaid.
A body of a man was found with a rope noose around his neck from the old college located in Lari Road, Ali Akbar Shah Goth, Ibrahim Hydari area. According to the police, the young man was identified as 28-year-old Shahzad son of Qasim, who hails from Chakiwara area of Lyari. He was a resident. The deceased’s brother said that Shahzad was unmarried and mentally ill. He did not do any work.
According to the brother, Shahzad used to come to an agent in Ibrahim Haidari for spiritual treatment. The deceased committed suicide by hanging himself from the roof hook by hanging a cow rope around his neck. A stool was also placed where the body was hanging.
On the other hand, a dead body of a young boy with a rope noose around his neck was found in a house near the Baloch Goth Muhammadi Mosque in Orangi Town. According to Karachi Police spokesperson, the deceased was identified as 15-year-old Shahzad son of Pir Bakhsh. After confirming the death, the family of the deceased took the body away without police action.
Earlier on Sunday night, a dead body of a 14-year-old boy, identified as Abu Bakr son of Shah Nawaz, was found inside a house in Gul Rana Colony of Soldier Bazar. According to preliminary information, Abu Bakr was in love with a girl and after a quarrel with his family in this regard, he committed suicide by hanging himself from the hook of the fan in the room.
Police are investigating all three incidents.
