
A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck the Indonesian island of Sumatra, killing 2 people, injuring 15 and destroying more than a dozen houses.
According to the World News Agency, an earthquake caused havoc in the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.9 on the Richter scale.
According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 13 km in the northeastern region of Saibolga, 43 km from the island of Sumatra.
