
Switzerland, the most innovative country in the world economy, remained at the top of the Global Innovation Index this year.
According to the Global Innovation Index 2022 released by the World Intellectual Property Organization, Switzerland managed to maintain its first position this year as well.
In this index, Switzerland has been named the best country in the world for the 12th consecutive time in terms of economic innovation.
According to the report, the second position was the United States, the third was Sudan, and then the United Kingdom and the Netherlands were at the fourth and fifth positions respectively.
The index ranks countries based on human and capital research, business practices, infrastructure and technology, with Switzerland again leading the pack this year.
