
As of July 2022, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had received 14,030 complaints from customers of various telecom providers, such as cellular operators, PTCL, LDIs, WLL operators, and ISPs.
13,709 complaints were reportedly resolved, which translates to a 97 percent resolution rate, according to the authority.
A sizable portion of the total telecom subscriber base is made up of cellular mobile subscribers. The most complaints are therefore related to this group. By July, there had been 13,342 complaints made against CMOs, of which 13,174 had been resolved (98 percent).
5,752 complaints were received against Jazz, 2,450 complaints against Telenor, 3,827 complaints against Zong, and 1,287 complaints against Ufone, according to PTA data.
The PTA also received 140 complaints against basic telephony, where 86 were addressed during July 2022. Furthermore, 533 complaints were received against ISPs, where 438 were addressed.
