Federal Government has decided to impose heavy duties and taxes on the import of graphic cards into the country.
As per details, based on specifications new taxes and duties would be charged to graphic cards.
The situation is getting worse as the market was just coping up with the rates of graphic cards as the rates starting decreasing after being sold at high rates.
As per details, the value of graphic cards would be estimated on the basis of VRAM capacity. 36% regulatory charges would be charged after the conversion into Pakistani Rupee as per exchange rate according to the date they were Imported.
It is important to inform that graphic cards had no Valuation Ruling in the past.
Whereas, Pakistan Custom has provided details regarding the implementation of taxes and duties on the import of GPUs.
