Babar Azam has become the first Pakistani and the fifth player in the world to complete 3000 runs in international T20 matches.
Babar Azam accomplished this feat in eighty-one innings of the eighty-sixth match of his career. Earlier, Mohammad Hafeez held the honor of scoring the most runs in T20s for Pakistan.

Hafeez scored two thousand five hundred and fourteen runs in 119 matches. Shoaib Malik’s number of runs in 123 matches is two thousand four hundred and thirty three. Babar Azam has so far scored twenty-seven half-centuries with two centuries in eighty-one innings.
