This wonder is a city called Al Madam, located about 60 kilometers from Dubai and 50 kilometers from Sharjah, with a small but eerie settlement adjacent to it, which is now almost buried in sand. Here, there are only ruins of houses amidst the silence of the desert.
It is said that at one time, the people of the Polar tribe used to live here, which was one of the three important tribes present here. But suddenly, two decades ago, the people here emptied their village and left it deserted.
Local people believe that some supernatural events occurred in Al Madam, but it could not be ascertained what these events were. Upon looking at the images of this village, it appears that two rows of similar houses have been built, with a mosque at one end.
According to reports, these houses were built as part of a housing project in the late 1970s or early 1980s, which are still in reasonably good condition. Not only are their walls intact, but the colors are also still present to some extent. However, these beautiful houses are empty of humans and filled with desert sand.
Speaking to Gulf News, a local resident said that sand enters the houses here; it is the nature of the sand or something else, we do not know. However, many people have claimed that there is something mysterious inside the sand that enters the houses. But what it is, nobody knows the truth.
Whether the reason is supernatural events or the mischief of genies, it is still a closely guarded secret, but the truth is that the entire village was emptied by the residents out of fear of ghosts and jinn, which is now presented as a deserted and awe-inspiring spectacle to the world.
Due to its extraordinary fame, it has now become part of Dubai\’s famous places, where tourists from all over the world come to see it with enthusiasm, or active individuals observe it on social media.
