The federal government appointed Waheed Ahmed to the PCSIR Council.
The federal government has appointed Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Association (PFVA) Patron General Waheed Ahmed and Iftikhar Ahmed & Company Director as members of the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) Council. This appointment reflects his outstanding expertise in horticulture and value added agriculture.
With vast experience in these fields, Waheed Ahmed’s leadership is expected to play a key role in advancing scientific and industrial development in Pakistan. His appointment will help guide the development of agriculture and horticulture industries and contribute to national economic development.
The Ministry of Science and Technology has issued an official notification of his appointment vide Notification No. F.2(5)/2002-PCSIR on 30 October 2024. This initiative highlights Mr. Ahmed’s specialized knowledge and his ability to support the mission of PCSIR. .
