Gold prices in Pakistan continued to rise on Friday, rising for the fifth consecutive day this week.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association, the price of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs.100. 2,500 per tola, reaching Rs. 280,500 while the price of 10 grams saw an increase of Rs. 2,143 reached to Rs. 240,483.
After a significant decline of over Rs. 10,000 per tola last week, gold is on a steady recovery this week. The price increased by Rs. 2,500 per tola on Monday, followed by an increase of Rs. 3,600 per tola on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the price of gold increased by Rs.100. 800 per tola, and yesterday, it added an additional Rs. 3700 per tola
With today’s addition, the gross profit for the week has now crossed Rs. 13,100 per tola gold has now touched an all-time high of Rs. 287,900 per tola, fixed last week.
The global market also saw a positive trend in gold prices, increasing by 1 percent. Spot gold was trading at $2,696.76 an ounce by 08:00 GMT, the best week for gold in a year. Meanwhile, U.S. gold futures rose 0.9 percent, to $2,699.30.
As gold prices continue to rise, market experts are keeping a close eye on further volatility in both the local and international markets.
